CashAdvance is not a lender and does not take applications. Listings are information only, built from public records (such as state license lists) and lenders' own published details. Confirm hours, fees and terms with the lender before you visit or borrow.

Types of lenders you will find here

  • Payday & cash advance lendersSmall, short-term loans repaid from your next paycheck. In some states, such as Texas, they are arranged by a broker that adds its own fee on top of the lender's interest.
  • Auto title lendersLoans secured by your car title. Missing payments can mean losing the vehicle, so the amount is capped in many cities.
  • Installment lendersLoans repaid in several scheduled payments, usually with lower APRs than payday loans and longer terms.
  • Pawn shopsLoans secured by an item you leave with the shop. You owe nothing more if you walk away, but you lose the item.
  • Online lendersLenders that operate entirely online. Some hold a state license, others lend through a partner bank.
  • Earned-wage & advance appsApps that advance part of your pay before payday, often with optional tips or monthly fees.

Before you borrow

  • Check that the lender is licensed in your state. Your state regulator publishes licensee lists.
  • Compare the total you will repay, not only the fee. Our guide to how APR works shows how.
  • Ask about the payment plan before you sign, in case you cannot repay on time. See repaying without penalties.
